The Highland is a men's lined waxed jacket, also known as an oilskirt, from Scottish Hoggs of Fife.

To extend the range of use and adapt the jacket to both weather and activity, the hood is easily removable.
The collar has a brown corduroy lining and the possibility to close to the neck if the wind should be on.

This type of men's jacket is well suited for those who move between the city and the countryside, and for that are looking for a stylish but functional jacket. 

The jacket has a robust zipper that marries very well with the dark waxed cotton.
We are well aware of the importance of many, large and functional pockets. You'll find four pockets on the front of the jacket, and two on the inside, one with a zipper.

The main difference from the Woodsman model is that this jacket has a slightly thicker lining.
The functional properties of the jacket mean that it can still be used with rubber boots and leisure pants for hunting, for example.

All garments deserve regular care. For example, use a waterproofing spray like this one to strengthen the water-repellent effects while softening the cotton of the jacket. 

Please note that Hoggs of Fife jackets tend to be slightly large in size, so we recommend going down a size if in doubt.
